Revolut restored its U.S. payments, transfers, ATM withdrawals and cryptocurrency services after a Google Cloud outage disrupted customers in several countries Oct. 20, while assuring them their money and data were safe. Customers in the United Kingdom, France, Spain and the United States encountered interruptions. At 6:46 a.m. ET (10:46 UTC), Revolut’s U.S. status page listed 28 services as partially unavailable. “We can confirm that all our customers’ money and data are safe,” Revolut told customers. The company later confirmed that services had been restored. Its U.S. status page now shows all systems operational, including cryptocurrency.
