HCA Healthcare Declares $0.78 Quarterly Dividend for Dec. 29 Payment

HCA Healthcare's board declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.78 per common share on Oct. 27, setting Dec. 29 as the payment date and keeping the payout at July's level. Shareholders must be on record at the close of business Dec. 15 to qualify. The July dividend was also $0.78 per share and was payable Sept. 30 to shareholders of record Sept. 16. The declaration came alongside HCA's results for the quarter ended Sept. 30. Revenue rose 3.6% from a year earlier to $19.849 billion, while net income attributable to HCA fell 3.9% to $1.579 billion.
