Binance.US Seeks Up to $100 Million at About $1 Billion Valuation

Binance.US is seeking up to $100 million in a private funding round at a valuation of about $1 billion as it looks to expand in the increasingly competitive U.S. crypto market. The exchange wants to use the capital to strengthen its position with American digital asset customers. The fundraising amount and valuation are targets for the proposed round, not proceeds received or terms of a completed deal. World Liberty Financial, a crypto venture co-founded by Donald Trump, was informed about the fundraising but is not participating. Being informed of the round does not amount to an investment commitment to Binance.US.
