T3 Financial Crime Unit Ends After Freezing More Than $450 Million

The T3 Financial Crime Unit, a joint initiative by TRM Labs, Tether and TRON, ended operations in August 2026 after announcing more than $450 million in frozen illicit assets. Formed in September 2024, T3 FCU focused on tracing and freezing USDT linked to illicit activity on the TRON blockchain.
