Revolut Gets Gibraltar Approval for Crypto Trading, Custody and Staking

Gibraltar has granted Revolut Global Digital Assets Limited permission to handle crypto orders, custody and staking, expanding the fintech company’s regulated digital asset activities in the territory. The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC), the territory’s financial regulator, issued the permission under Part 7 of the Financial Services Act. It covers transmitting and executing virtual asset orders, holding those assets in custody and providing staking services. The permission applies to Revolut Global Digital Assets Limited. It sets out the activities the unit is authorized to conduct under Gibraltar’s distributed ledger technology (DLT) framework.
