Visa and Mesh Partner to Make Crypto and Stablecoin Balances Spendable at 175 Million Merchants

Visa’s network carries $14.2 trillion in annual payment volume across more than 175 million merchant locations. Crypto card spending, by the last widely cited measure, runs near $1.5 billion a month. Side by side, the crypto card market is a rounding error against the payments giant, under two tenths of one percent on an annualized basis. The partnership between Visa and Mesh announced on October 19, 2026 is a direct attempt to close that gap.
