Visa partners with Mesh to enable crypto payments at 175 million merchants

Visa has partnered with crypto payments infrastructure provider Mesh to let consumers spend cryptocurrency and stablecoin balances at more than 175 million merchant locations worldwide without first transferring funds to a bank account or loading a separate payment card. Visa has partnered with Mesh to enable crypto and stablecoin spending at more than 175 million merchant locations across over 200 countries and territories. Consumers will be able to pay directly from supported wallet balances without cashing out, transferring funds or obtaining separate payment cards. Mesh will handle transaction funding and conversion, while merchants continue receiving payments through Visa's existing infrastructure.
