Mahmudov Says a Memecoin Could Surpass Bitcoin’s Market Cap

Murad Mahmudov said a memecoin could eventually overtake Bitcoin (BTC) in market capitalization, tying the possibility to community support and holders who remain invested over the long term. At TOKEN2049 Singapore on Oct. 16, Mahmudov called this idea the Fat Movement Thesis. He said successful memecoins could grow into movements supported by dedicated holders. On Tuesday, Oct. 20, Mahmudov separately said the broader crypto market had not yet entered a bull cycle.
