Consumer discretionary companies beat earnings-per-share (EPS) forecasts more often than revenue estimates this week, giving investors a sector-specific snapshot of results during the broader U.S. earnings season. Six of nine companies topped EPS expectations, while four beat revenue forecasts. Five companies had year-over-year revenue growth, compared with four that recorded year-over-year EPS growth. GM, GPC, Hasbro and Tractor Supply were among the companies with year-over-year revenue growth. John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
