Coinbase Plans Support for Axis Labs’ AXIS Token, Deposits Await Unlock

Coinbase plans to add support for Axis Labs’ AXIS token, while customers in supported regions can already create deposit addresses across its services ahead of the issuer unlocking transfers. Address generation is available on coinbase.com, in the Coinbase app and on Coinbase Exchange, giving customers three ways to set up a destination for AXIS. The update applies only in regions where Coinbase supports the asset. AXIS deposits remain unavailable until the issuer unlocks transfers. A deposit address is a destination for an incoming transfer, but creating one does not itself let customers move AXIS into a Coinbase account.
