Zakura Merged Zcash Swap Viewing Key Code Oct. 14 Before Wallet Rollout

Zakura merged support for one-time incoming viewing keys into its Zcash (ZEC) wallet libraries on Oct. 14, putting a proposed privacy safeguard for NEAR Intents swaps into code before any wallet rollout. The merge came before TokenPost’s Oct. 19 coverage of the per-swap key proposal . The design remains under review, and the library change has not activated the feature in users’ wallets. A NEAR Intents swap that sends ZEC to another chain includes a shielded Zcash address for a possible refund. NEAR records that address publicly when the deposit registers, even if the swap succeeds without a refund.
