First Trust Mortgage Income Fund (FMY) kept its November monthly distribution at $0.065 per common share, maintaining the payout as it set dates for shareholder eligibility and payment. The distribution rate was 6.95% based on the fund’s Oct. 19 closing market price. The payment’s final tax character has not been determined. Shareholders of record Nov. 2 are eligible for the distribution. The ex-dividend date is expected to be Nov. 2, and payment is scheduled for Nov. 16.
