Compound’s COMP Gains 27% as Protocol Value Locked Trails Late September

Compound’s COMP token gained 27% and outperformed Bitcoin and Ether, while the value of assets locked in the lending protocol remained below its late-September level. COMP also outperformed Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) over seven- and 28-day periods. The comparison puts the governance token ahead of both assets across each of those time frames. Total value locked (TVL) measures the value of assets locked in a protocol. COMP is used in Compound governance voting, so its market performance and the protocol’s TVL describe different measures.
