Bittensor Adds Optional Key Rotation to Its Post-Quantum Wallet

Bittensor launched a wallet for Bittensor (TAO) that supports three post-quantum signature options and lets users rotate signing keys without changing an account’s address, balance or stake. The wallet supports ML-DSA-65, Falcon-512 and Falcon-1024 for coldkey and hotkey functions, including TAO transfers, staking and validator-weight settings. The National Institute of Standards and Technology has standardized ML-DSA-65. Automatic key rotation is optional. Users who enable it must register and permanently lock 0.2 TAO once. After a signed transaction is recorded on-chain, the wallet switches to a new signing key, and the previous key can no longer authorize transactions for the account.
