Bitcoin Long Liquidations Reach $8.56 Million in One Hour

Bitcoin (BTC) had $8.56 million in long positions liquidated during the hour ending at 11:40 p.m. ET Oct. 23, as combined liquidations on Binance, Bybit and OKX reached $10.84 million. Long positions made up the larger share of the total, with short liquidations accounting for the remaining $2.28 million. TokenPost’s total combines publicly available liquidation data that it collected directly from the three exchanges. The figure covers Binance, Bybit and OKX only; it is not a marketwide total. The tally measures the one-hour period immediately before the 11:40 p.m. ET cutoff.
