Bitcoin Leads Five-Coin Funding Snapshot at 0.0100% Every Eight Hours

A snapshot of five crypto perpetual-futures markets at 7 a.m. ET (11:00 UTC) Sunday, Oct. 18, put Bitcoin at the top for funding, while long accounts outnumbered short accounts for every asset in the group. Bitcoin (BTC) had a funding rate of 0.0100% every eight hours, equivalent to 10.9% annualized, the highest among the five assets. Positive funding means traders holding long positions pay those holding short positions. Bitcoin open interest rose 1.01% over 24 hours to $7.76 billion, and long accounts represented 62.5%, compared with 37.5% short.
