USD Coin (USDC) Leads Tracked AI-Agent Payment Activity

USD Coin (USDC) was the most-used stablecoin for AI-agent payments in a 30-day set of tracked on-chain activity across Base and other crypto networks, a limited measure of use rather than an overall market ranking. Agents routed payments through Algorand, Solana, Polygon, Canton and other networks while paying in USDC. The tracked activity put USDC ahead of other stablecoins for those payments, but does not establish a lead across all AI-agent payments or protocols. Tether (USDT) remained the wider stablecoin market’s leader by a wide margin. That broader ranking differs from USDC’s lead in the tracked agent-payment activity.
