Yuga Labs Opens Mudwater Claims With Solana Cards and APE Rewards

Yuga Labs’ Mudwater release introduces 240,000 packs containing 2.4 million physical and digital trading cards. BAYC and MAYC holders can claim packs until January 19, 2027, using ERC-6551 Totems and Chainlink CCIP. Collectors face separate costs for pack opening and trading, while physical-card conversion remains a planned feature. Yuga Labs has opened claims for Mudwater, a physical and digital trading card collection that connects Ethereum-based Bored Ape Yacht Club NFTs with collectibles issued on Solana. Launched during ApeFest 2026 on October 17, Mudwater’s first release, Swamp Origins, features 120 artworks across standard, foil, numbered and rare editions.
