Ripple is clearly diving into agentic commerce. The company announced on X a partnership with Privy, a Stripe company, to bring embedded wallets to the XRP Ledger. Interestingly, the partnership will enable developers to build payment experiences using XRP, RLUSD, and other digital assets “directly” into their apps, without users having to manage private keys. Ripple summed it up as: Broadening access to XRPL, from everyday payments to agentic commerce. Strategically, Ripple clearly views AI agents as a potential enabler of future payments and a means to make crypto transactions more accessible with less human input.
