LAS VEGAS, October 18, 2026. World, the Proof of Human network co-founded by Sam Altman, Max Novendstern, and Alex Blania, has launched World ID for banking and finance, a suite of tools designed to help financial institutions stop deepfake fraud and AI-driven impersonation. Blania unveiled the offering on stage at Money20/20, one of the largest gatherings of the global payments and fintech industry. The product is available now and marks the first time World has packaged World ID for a specific industry.
