Wonder's funding has topped $3 billion, and its valuation is above $9 billion as the food technology company grows its restaurant network and moves toward an IPO. Serial entrepreneur Marc Lore founded Wonder, which counts Google Ventures among its investors. Its business combines food locations, delivery and automated kitchens. Ingredients are prepared centrally and sent to local sites, where workers finish meals. Wonder has expanded to 170 locations through acquisitions and spent more than $1 billion on restaurant and food businesses. Those purchases include Grubhub for $650 million and Blue Apron for $103 million.
