Binance Says 95% of Stolen Funds Are Covered, Sets Withdrawal Window

Binance said it had covered about 95% of the amount affected by an Oct. 29 security incident and set a phased withdrawal window for Nov. 1, giving users a timetable for restored access. The latest figure is up from the about 80% coverage Binance cited on Oct. 30. The exchange also said balances in Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Tether (USDT), BNB, Solana (SOL), USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC were fully backed. The first withdrawal phase was scheduled for 1–4 a.m. ET (06:00–09:00 UTC) on Nov. 1, spanning the U.S. switch from daylight saving time to standard time.
