Ethereum’s validator entry queue held 1,171,149 ETH at 2:02 a.m. ET (07:02 UTC) Nov. 1, about 14% below the Oct. 23 snapshot , with the estimated wait nearing 21 days. Three separate Nov. 1 readings put the amount awaiting activation between 1,167,781 and 1,179,545 ETH. Their wait estimates were about 20 days. The figures measure ETH in line to become active validators, rather than the number of people or organizations staking. Ethereum recognizes deposits in about 13 minutes, then processes new validators through a rate-limited activation queue.
