Uniswap becomes first DeFi token with futures on CME Group

UNI futures are now live on the Chicago exchange in two contract sizes, with round-the-clock access through CME Globex Uniswap ’s UNI token now trades as a futures contract on CME Group. That makes it the first decentralized exchange governance token to get a listing on the world’s best-known derivatives venue. CME Group announced the plan on September 22, 2026. It paired UNI with Bitcoin Cash , and both futures products were slated to debut together. Trading went live on October 19, 2026, following regulatory approval.
