Janus Henderson Investors has expanded its Avalanche presence into network validation and onchain credit, taking an equity stake in Tranched and planning anchor capital for future issuances beyond its tokenized fund activity. The Sept. 16 moves add a network operations role alongside the firm’s fund activity. Validators handle transaction processing and contribute to Avalanche’s security. Janus Henderson plans to provide anchor capital for Tranched’s issuances. Tranched had $300 million in onchain assets and an active pipeline of more than $3 billion. The pipeline consists of prospective deals, not credit already issued.
