Chinese prosecutors are seeking to confiscate 61,896.41552945 Bitcoin (BTC) seized by British authorities, with a Tianjin court giving interested parties six months to participate before it hears the application. Tianjin No. 2 Intermediate People’s Court accepted the application on Sept. 28 and published a notice Oct. 13. The court will hear the matter after the six-month period, but has not set a hearing date. Accepting the application does not confiscate the assets or settle ownership. The court’s move follows an earlier report on the Tianjin confiscation bid .
