Sunrise has brought Backpack's tokenized Meta shares to Solana, making the offering available on the blockchain while restricting redemption to eligible users with verified Backpack accounts. The offering is available on Solana, but access to redemption remains tied to Backpack. A holder must use an account that is both eligible and verified; access to the Solana-based offering alone does not meet the stated redemption condition. Transfers from Backpack to another brokerage are not supported. That means holders cannot use the service to move the tokenized shares into a separate brokerage account.
