Solana (SOL) Price: Can Bulls Defend $100 After a $959M Liquidation Flush?

TLDR SOL is trading near $101.56 after dipping to $100.43, down about 2.5% on the day. U.S. spot Solana ETFs saw $1.29 million in outflows on Oct. 14, an eighth straight session of withdrawals. About $959 million in crypto positions were liquidated in 24 hours, with $879.71 million of that in longs. The Alpenglow upgrade is set to go live on mainnet on Oct. 21, targeting 150-millisecond finality. Analyst Jesse Olson says SOL has hit target 2 of 4 in his retracement setup.
