The SEC’s Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee will hold separate sessions on IPO modernization and crowdfunding Oct. 27, considering policy issues tied to how small businesses access public markets and early-stage capital. The meeting is scheduled to begin at SEC headquarters in Washington, D.C. It will be streamed live on SEC.gov. The morning session will build on ideas from earlier committee meetings. Members will consider ways to encourage more companies to go public, including potential changes to the offering process, IPO communications rules, and analyst coverage and support.
