Samsung Wallet Opens Solana USDC Accounts on 82 Million Galaxy Devices

Samsung Wallet has launched a way for eligible U.S. Galaxy users to buy and hold Circle-issued USD Coin (USDC) on Solana, extending access across about 82 million compatible devices. Users can purchase, hold, send and receive USDC without a separate crypto app or managing private keys themselves. The service requires Android 13 or later and is available to U.S. residents 18 and older, except in New York. Transfers to other Samsung Wallet users in the United States and compatible external crypto wallets carry no Samsung fee.
