Phase launches AI-agent blockchain with $45m founder backing

Phase has switched on its Layer 1 blockchain mainnet with $45m founder backing supplied by Kirill Eves. The company says the network will provide infrastructure for AI agents, including connectivity, model access, computing and payments.Eves also founded Unlimit, a financial infrastructure business active in over 180 countries that handles upwards of $40bn in payments each year, according to the source. Phase says its network uses ordinary consumer devices to help secure the blockchain while supplying bandwidth and processing capacity for its AI services.
