Microchip Board Declares $0.455 Quarterly Dividend for Dec. 8

On Nov. 5, Microchip Technology Inc. announced a $0.455 cash dividend for each common share, payable Dec. 8 to shareholders on record Nov. 23. The per-share dividend matches the $0.455 payment made Sept. 9, which totaled $247.6 million. Microchip estimates the December-quarter distribution will total approximately $248 million. Microchip established its dividend program in October 2002, with payments starting in the third quarter of fiscal 2003. John Kim reports on the digital-asset business for TokenPost.
