AI-powered hacking risk is rising across crypto platforms, banks and other critical infrastructure, Binance co-founder Changpeng Zhao warned after a major cryptocurrency theft. The attack began with phishing and was carried out with AI tools, according to Yahoo Finance, renewing concern about software flaws that automated systems can find and exploit faster than people. “This is every crypto platform, every wallet service, every bank, every financial institution that you use,” Zhao said in an interview. He added that AI is improving quickly and predicted that such incidents would become more common.
