Hyperliquid Whale Shorts Exceed Longs by $543 Million in Oct. 18 Snapshot

Hyperliquid whale short positions exceeded longs by $543 million in an Oct. 18 snapshot, with shorts accounting for 53.37% of $8.061 billion in total positions. Shorts were valued at $4.302 billion, while longs totaled $3.759 billion. Longs made up the remaining 46.63% of the total. The long-to-short ratio was 0.87, comparing the dollar value of long positions with short positions. That means long value was about 87 cents for every dollar in short value. Long positions had positive P&L of $158 million, while shorts had negative P&L of $117 million.
