Hyperliquid Whale Positions Slip to $8.013 Billion as Shorts Lead

Hyperliquid whale positions totaled $8.013 billion, down $48 million from an Oct. 18 snapshot, as short bets continued to outweigh long bets on the exchange. Short positions accounted for $4.267 billion, or 53.25%, of the total. Long positions stood at $3.746 billion, or 46.75%. That left $521 million more short exposure than long exposure and a long-to-short ratio of 0.88. The split changed little from the Oct. 18 snapshot , when whale positions totaled $8.061 billion and shorts represented 53.37% of the total. The long-to-short ratio then stood at 0.87.
