Hyperliquid drops 5% as Zcash narrows $560 million gap in top-10 battle

Two major cryptocurrencies, Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Zcash (ZEC), are locked in a close contest for a spot in the top 10 by market capitalization. Hyperliquid currently holds ninth place with a market value of $19.78 billion, while Zcash follows closely at $19.22 billion in tenth. The slim margin of $560 million separating the two means that even minor price movements could see them swapping positions in the rankings. Hyperliquid trades at $77.90 after falling 5.16% over the past week. Its price action shows that the asset peaked near $98 in late September but has since trended downward.
