Fission Closes $10 Million Series A to Speed Tokenized Fund Exits

Fission closed a $10 million Series A in September to help holders of tokenized fund interests exit faster, with the company stepping in as buyer while investors might otherwise wait months for redemption. Pantera Capital led the financing. Circle Ventures, Borderless Capital and Ari Rubenstein also participated, and Fission did not disclose a valuation. Putting fund interests on a blockchain does not guarantee a quick sale. Investors connect a digital wallet and submit a request through Fission’s platform; the company buys the interest and handles the legal and transaction work.
