Evernorth Names Hugo Jeandesboz Chief Investment Officer

Evernorth hired Hugo Jeandesboz as chief investment officer, adding an executive with Coinbase and HSBC experience as the Nasdaq-listed company develops plans to earn yield on its 473 million XRP treasury. The company intends to pursue yield through on-chain activity and institutional partnerships. It expects to begin institutional deployment in the fourth quarter of 2026 and has named Ripple, Kraken, Coinbase and BitGo as execution partners for its planned XRP deployment . Evernorth began trading on Nasdaq under XRPN on Oct. 12, after completing its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II on Oct. 9.
