Ethereum Validators Hold Record 43.8 Million Ether at Q3 End

Ethereum’s active validators held a record 43.8 million Ether (ETH) at the end of Q3 2026, as staking continued to draw net inflows despite a decline in gross annualized yield. The validator balance represented 35.9% of Ether’s supply. Ethereum recorded its sixth consecutive quarter of positive net staking inflows, while its gross annualized staking yield fell to 2.63% from 2.81%. The inflow streak does not mean the amount held by active validators rose in every quarter. Solana (SOL) had 69% of its supply staked. Its gross annualized staking yield declined to 5.99% from 6.38%.
