Ether (ETH) rose 3.04% in four hours to $2,416 as of 8:45 p.m. ET Sunday, Oct. 18 (00:45 UTC Oct. 19), based on Binance spot ETH/USDT prices. ETH was $2,345 four hours earlier, a $71 increase. The 24-hour change was 0.50%, a separate comparison from the four-hour reading. The figures show a stronger short-window gain than the full-day net change. A one-hour tally of Ether liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX totaled $840,000 for short positions and $50,000 for long positions. The short-side total exceeded the long-side amount by $790,000. Combined, the two sides amounted to $890,000 during that hour.
