[ETH options daily] Open interest falls to $5.86 billion, $2,700 call leads volume

Ether options open interest fell 2.32% to $5.86 billion, while calls led both outstanding positions and daily trading. Medium-term positioning in the Ether options market remained tilted toward calls. Trading activity also favored calls, indicating a similar directional bias over the shorter term. As of Oct. 17, total Ether options open interest stood at $5.86 billion, down 2.32% from $6.00 billion previously. Options trading volume totaled approximately $936.04 million. Ether was priced at $2,436.01. Calls accounted for 62.25% of open interest, compared with 37.75% for puts. By trading volume, calls represented 56.6% and puts 43.4%.
