Eaton Vance Raises EOI Monthly Distribution 9.6% to $0.1467

Eaton Vance Enhanced Equity Income Fund (EOI) lifted its monthly per-share distribution to $0.1467 from $0.1338, a $0.0129 increase, or 9.6%. Eaton Vance declared the higher payment Nov. 2. Nov. 16 serves as both the record date and the ex-dividend date. EOI will pay the distribution Nov. 30. The fund’s distribution rate at market price was 9.19%, calculated using its $19.16 closing share price on Oct. 30. A managed distribution plan governs EOI’s monthly payments. They may come from ordinary dividends, capital gains or return of capital.
