Celestia’s native token, TIA, fell 14.3% from its Oct. 17 high to the session close, a pullback recorded a day after the network announced Eden, a chain designed to use the token. Celestia introduced Eden on Oct. 16 as a standalone Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) chain for agentic commerce experiments. Eden runs its own EVM environment, posts data to Celestia and uses TIA to pay gas fees. Celestia provides data availability, allowing other chains to publish data for use by their networks.
