Crypto commentator BrutallyHonest faced criticism from some XRP community members after challenging Ripple’s account of how RLUSD and XRP are used in payments, while responses also included agreement with one of his claims. In a video posted Oct. 30, BrutallyHonest, who posts as @MotowarriorX, addressed people criticizing him for challenging Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse. He accused Ripple and Garlinghouse of lying to the XRP community by describing RLUSD as complementary to XRP. BrutallyHonest claimed that all cross-border dollar-to-dollar transactions, as well as transactions within the United States, use RLUSD rather than XRP.
