Bitfinex Transfers 100.98 Million USDT to Tether Treasury

Bitfinex transferred 100,980,000 Tether (USDT), valued at about $100.88 million, to Tether Treasury. The token amount matched a separate transfer into the exchange. The incoming transaction sent 100,980,000 USDT from an unidentified wallet to Bitfinex. It was recorded on Oct. 20 and valued at about $100.93 million. The matching amounts do not establish that the two transfers were connected. Tether issues USDT, a stablecoin widely used in crypto trading.
