Binance’s XRP Whale Outflows Moving 6x Faster Than the Broader Market

XRP whale wallets are increasing their share of exchange outflows on Binance at a pace that exceeds the broader cryptocurrency exchange market. Between Oct. 7 and 13, Binance’s Whale vs Retail Spread saw a massive spike, and this created a divergence that resembles an on-chain pattern observed in early August, right before XRP recorded a notable price increase. For context, the Whale vs Retail Spread indicator measures the relative difference between large and small XRP exchange outflows using a seven-day average to reduce short-term fluctuations.
