Avalanche surpasses 1.6 billion transactions as AVAX eyes $11 breakout

Avalanche , a prominent layer-1 blockchain platform, has exceeded 1.6 billion total transactions, highlighting the network’s ongoing growth and sustained on-chain activity. Blockchain data provider Chainspect shared this milestone, noting its significance within the evolving competitive landscape of smart contract platforms. Chainspect, which specializes in blockchain data analytics, reported that Avalanche’s cumulative transactions exceeded 1.6 billion. As a point of comparison, processing this volume manually at a rate of one transaction per second would require more than 50 years, underlining the network’s rapid throughput and considerable usage.
