Anthropic Plans 5% Stake for Public Benefit Fund as Musk Urges Direct Distribution

Anthropic announced a plan to place an initial 5% of its shares in Anthropic Public Benefit Fund, a wholly owned entity devoted to public benefit. Elon Musk urged the company to distribute shares directly to the public. Anthropic could add shares equal to 2% of the company for each 50% increase in its valuation from a set baseline.
