Anthropic Begins U.S. Beta of Claude Personal Finance Tool

Anthropic is starting a U.S. beta rollout this week of Personal Finance in Claude for Pro, Max and Ultra subscribers, allowing them to connect bank and credit card accounts through Plaid to examine transactions and ask about spending. The tool can total activity from linked accounts and group it into categories such as housing and utilities, food and drink, and shopping. Users can ask follow-up questions to compare spending with their usual patterns or check for items they may have missed. They can also ask whether they are spending more than they earn.
