AMD and Micron Rise With Intel in Oct. 19 Premarket Chip Rebound

Intel (INTC), Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) and Micron Technology (MU) gained before the Oct. 19 open as chip shares rebounded after a selloff, even as Dow futures declined. Intel rose about 4% in premarket trading, while AMD and Micron each advanced about 3%. Nasdaq-100 futures gained 1.3% and S&P 500 futures rose 0.5%. Dow futures fell 0.2%, showing that the advance was concentrated in technology. CoreWeave climbed about 6% before the open after Goldman Sachs upgraded its shares. The AI infrastructure company had fallen roughly 25% the previous week.
